The first orange feathered delightful bird has appeared.
A Bullock's Oriole stopped by for refreshment. The hummingbird feeder provided a quick little jolt of energy. I'll put some oranges cut in half around on posts for them.
These are the most wonderful birds. Their beaks are crossed at tips. They create hanging nests. Often in the same tree each year.
I always wait for the winter winds to blow one down for my treasure trove .
