Happy New Year!
I have a beautiful word to share with you.
I have a friend named Che'usa. Now that ought to peak your interest, right there. She surrounds herself with beauty and wisdom. It's like everything that she touches is or arranges is beautiful. She shares her musings on her site, The Orange Wheelbarrow.
On Dec. 30th, a "musing" graced my email. Several pictures were attached and I learned the meaning of a new word. The word is KanShoKu.
I so loved this, that I asked her if I could share the word part that musing on my blog. She gave me permission. I think that meaning of this word will blow you away, if you let it really sink in.
~Happy New Year - and enjoy~
Love, Janet
From Che'usa:
Me Musing . . .
December 30, 2009 . . .Well . . . we finally got some snow and it was my first glimpse of how colourful the house and Workshop colours look in winter's backdrop.

I got our little New Year bags made from the scraps of the Gees Bend Zen duvet cover . . .

As you can see, they aren't fancy
and just big enough to hold a penny.
Even if you make them with
paper and duct tape . . . have at it!
I decided to place them on my KanShoKu table . . .
